I’ll be presenting on how I’ve made use of WebSockets in esdao.com; I use them for more than simply chat. I’ll be covering two libraries, Faye and Juggernaut, as I’ve implemented both of them - you have to turn up though to learn which one I actually stayed with. ;-)

Additionally I can talk about something else, as a few of you have been playing ESDAO is there anything in particular that you’d like to know about? For example I have a Jabber client running in a badly evented Resque worker??

The meeting time has been changed to 5:30pm as their outside doors auto-lock at 6pm. Take the lift to the 2nd floor and we’ll initially gather in the meeting rooms there in the corridor with the lifts.
If you find the doors are locked when you get there then you’ll need to text me on 021 677080 to be let in if someone isn’t waiting there - no buzzer.
